Become Proficient in Journalism

Journalism is a valuable field that broadcast treasured news through the print media as well as the electronic media. Journalists convey information to the audience to keep update people what all things happening around the world. Journalists as professionals involve various areas of work such as Reporting, Writing, Editing, Photography, Broadcasting, Cable Casting news items, Article and other form of presentation.

Journalists or reporters research and collect information about a variety of things worldwide such as news, current affairs, events, trends, fashion, issues and people. They present information in a manner that provides unbiased objective viewpoint. Journalist research for the stories and relevant information and present it to the targeted audience in their own words. To get background information they go to sources and obtain direct quotes. Also they conduct research using variety of documentation formats. Journalist ensures the information they broadcasting is valid and true, they often attend events to observe the relevancy and to gain information.

Journalist circulates news through newspapers, magazines, television, periodicals, radio, podcasts and internet. They write some pieces of the new short stories to long articles, feature stories, travel reviews, interviews, columns, advices, how to article and current affairs. Sometimes they add photographs and documentation in text as required. Some professionals are responsible for writing content, editing content, accuracy check, and documentation sets etc.

You need to have degree in journalism, mass communications, or other related field to be part of Journalism. Journalism group in to two basis of media:-
  • Print Journalism – includes magazines, newspapers and journals.
  • Electronic Journalism – includes radio, television and Web.
